Trees

Trees are the ‘bones’ of the garden and throughout the year, always give the garden interest.

In Spring we are treated to wonderful blossoms and fresh green leaves, the promise of what’s to come.

In Summer they provide us with privacy as well as a beautiful, shady canopy.

 In Autumn we are treated to a stunning technicolour of changing leaves, maybe fruits and berries too.

Even in Winter, they provide structure and height in a quietly sleeping garden.

Of course, if you choose evergreens, like conifers or eucalyptus, you can create a fixed backdrop all year round, ideal for sheltering birds.
